Dr. Mohammad Ahmad Mohammad Algarni, MBBS, SB-Med, SB-MO is a Saudi Consultant Medical Oncologist and Clinical Cancer Geneticist at the Department of Oncology, King Abdulaziz Medical City, National Guard Health Affairs. He serves as Section Head of the Cancer Control and Outreach Division and Director of the Suspected Cancer Program. He also holds a joint appointment as Assistant Professor of Medicine at King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences. Dr. Algarni completed his Medical Oncology and Gastrointestinal Malignancies & Cancer Genetics fellowships at McMaster University and is certified by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties as a Consultant in Internal Medicine and Medical Oncology. He previously served as Director of the Medical Oncology Fellowship Program and currently chairs the Central Committee for Training in Medical Oncology. An active researcher and speaker, Dr. Algarni has authored multiple peer-reviewed publications in oncology and has presented at regional and international conferences. He is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology, European Society for Medical Oncology, and the American College of Physicians. His clinical interests focus on gastrointestinal malignancies, cancer genetics, cancer prevention, and precision oncology.
