Waleed Mohammed Saeed Al Selwi, MD is a consultant medical oncologist at King Fahad Specialist Hospital in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, with over a decade of experience in oncology practice, clinical research, and medical education. He is board-certified in medical oncology and internal medicine, holding credentials from the Saudi Board, Arab Board, and MRCP (UK), and has successfully completed the ESMO examination. Dr. Al Selwi has progressed through multiple clinical and academic roles at King Fahad Specialist Hospital, where he currently serves as a senior consultant and plays a key role in advancing oncology services. He is also the Program Director of the Medical Oncology Fellowship Program, contributing significantly to the training and mentorship of future oncologists. His clinical expertise spans a broad range of solid tumors, with particular interest in gastrointestinal, gynecologic, and thoracic malignancies. He is actively involved in multidisciplinary cancer care and has led and contributed to numerous clinical trials, including international and multicenter studies, as both principal investigator and co-investigator.
