Mohamed Tarek Hafez, MD, is a Consultant Surgical Oncologist and Head and Neck Surgeon at King’s College Hospital London in Jeddah, and Professor of Surgical Oncology at Mansoura
University, Egypt. He completed advanced fellowship training in Head and Neck Surgical Oncology at the University of Manitoba, Canada, along with specialized training in microvascular reconstruction in Korea and Italy. With extensive experience in thyroid, parathyroid, and complex head and neck surgeries, he has led clinical innovation, including
establishing the first ultrasound-guided thyroid biopsy clinic managed by a surgeon in his region.
