Faisal Azam

Dr. Faisal Azam is a Consultant Medical Oncologist at King Fahad Specialist Hospital, Dammam, KSA. His main areas of expertise are GU Oncology, Gynae Oncology, Breast Cancer, Sarcomas, and Skin Cancers. He is also in charge of oncology research at Dammam. Before moving to KSA, he was a consultant at Betsi Cadwaladr University Hospital in the UK. He completed his Medical Oncology clinical training at the Cancer Center in Liverpool and research training at Oxford University in the UK. His qualifications include CCT in Medical Oncology, FRCP, MRCP-UK, MRCP-Ireland, PG Diploma in Oncology, and PG Certificate in Medical Education. He is currently the Chairman of the FTC and a member of the IRB Committee. He has served as the principal investigator on many clinical trials and has more than 50 publications in peer-reviewed journals, along with multiple presentations at international and national conferences. His contributions and presentations at scientific meetings in Saudi Arabia and the GCC are well recognized. He has also contributed to the Saudi national Gynae and GU cancer guidelines.
