Dr. Noor Basendowah

Assistant Professor at King Abdulaziz University – Rabigh and Consultant Thoracic Surgeon at
King’s College London–Jeddah, with additional clinical roles at Al-Salama Hospital and prior
service at KAMC-Jeddah. She completed a Thoracic Surgery Fellowship at Samsung Medical
Center in Seoul, South Korea, with focused training in thoracic oncology and minimally invasive
thoracic and upper gastrointestinal surgery.
Her career includes thoracic surgery experience at KAUH and KAMC-NGH, as well as
international training at Western University in Canada. She has been a certified General Surgery
Consultant since 2016, following completion of her residency at KAMC-NGH-Jeddah. Her
clinical and academic interests focus on thoracic and upper gastrointestinal malignancies.
