Marwan R. Al-Hajeili, MD, MS is a board-certified hematologist and medical oncologist with over 15 years of experience in academic and private healthcare across the United States and Saudi Arabia. He holds triple American Board certification in Internal Medicine, Hematology, and Medical Oncology, and completed advanced fellowship training at Wayne State University and Georgetown University, with a subspecialty focus in gastrointestinal oncology. Dr. Al-Hajeili currently serves as Chairman of the Oncology Center at International Medical Center in Jeddah and as an Associate Professor at King Abdulaziz University. He also holds executive leadership roles, including Executive Director of First Clinic and Makkah Center, where he oversees strategic and operational healthcare initiatives. Throughout his career, he has held several senior leadership positions, including Chairman of the Department of Medicine, Medical Director, and Chief Executive Officer, leading clinical transformation, quality improvement, and service expansion across multiple institutions. His clinical expertise spans comprehensive cancer care and hematologic disorders, with a strong emphasis on patient-centered outcomes and multidisciplinary care. An active academic contributor, Dr. Al-Hajeili has authored over 50 peer-reviewed publications and has led numerous clinical and research initiatives, particularly in gastrointestinal malignancies and healthcare quality improvement. His professional interests include clinical governance, oncology service development, and advancing healthcare quality and innovation.
