Dr. Mohamed Yassin is a Consultant in Clinical Oncology and Nuclear Medicine and a recognized leader in cancer care, academic medicine, and clinical research. He currently serves as Head of the Oncology Department at Saudi German Hospital in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, and is an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Medicine, Ain Shams University. With over two decades of experience, Dr. Yassin has held several senior leadership roles, including Head of Gastrointestinal and Gynecological Oncology Units and Director of Outpatient Clinics and Radiation Facilities at Ain Shams University. His clinical expertise spans a wide range of malignancies, with a particular focus on gastrointestinal, breast, and gynecological cancers. Dr. Yassin has contributed extensively to oncology research, with numerous peer-reviewed publications and international conference presentations covering lung cancer, colorectal cancer, lymphoma, and hepatocellular carcinoma. He is an active participant in global oncology forums, including ESMO and ASCO, and has presented his work at major international congresses across Europe and the Middle East. In addition to his clinical and academic roles, he is actively involved in advancing oncology education and collaboration. He has served as Secretary General of major oncology conferences, a board member of international oncology initiatives, and a frequent speaker and advisor to leading global pharmaceutical organizations. Dr. Yassin has completed multiple international training fellowships in Europe and Asia, enhancing his expertise in advanced cancer therapies and multidisciplinary care. He is also a peer reviewer, editorial contributor, and member of ethical and scientific committees, reflecting his ongoing commitment to advancing standards in oncology practice and research.
